Apartments

The Cariboo Friendship Society provides seventeen apartments in the main administration building. Of these apartments, two are designated handicapped and one is designated as supportive recovery. There are 11 one-bedrooms, 4 two-bedrooms, and 2 bachelor suites. These apartments are available to low-moderate income urban Aboriginal individuals and families.

Eagle Nest Apartments

The Society operates a 33 Unit Apartment complex. Of these apartments, four are designated handicapped and there are 16 one-bedrooms, and 17 two-bedrooms. These apartments are available to low-moderate income urban Aboriginal individuals and families.

Contracting

The Society contracts to the community in general in such areas as: dry walling, painting, building repairs, maintenance and small building projects.

Hearth Restaurant

The Society operates a full service restaurant, which serves the Shelter and as well as the general public. The Hearth caters to off-site meetings and workshops in the community. The restaurant also provides catering for private functions in the Hearth.

Native Arts and Crafts Shop

The Society encourages the on-going participation in and the development of traditional Native arts by purchasing a variety of items from local artists. These are shown locally and sold to the general public. Clink on the link below to find out more about what the shop has to offer.
